We started the day with the intent to hike the Santa Cruz trail to Happy Hollow, and were prepared for rain. The Forest rangers were also preparing for rain, and told us we could only hike until noon when they were going to evacuate the canyon due to anticipated flooding. So, we hiked til ten, then went home wet anyway.
Dominique wasn't tired yet, so she hopped back on her pony and galloped out to More Mesa to see some big storm surf.
After doing some errands (veggies at Fairview Gardens #sbaxxess, pliers for Dome's Millennium Falcon model, plants for the garden, OSH was paying customer's sales tax) we stopped at the Outpost at the Goodland Hotel for some snacks (#sbaxxess deal #2).
